Culture is key to any successful organization, that is why I put it near the top.

Once you open your doors and start hiring for the first time you are going to start building your culture, like it or not. If you have a plan as to how you want the culture to be you need to set it in place before anything else, as it is the hardest thing to change and in fact I would say near impossible the larger you get. There will be traces of it through out your organization forever even if you do try to change it in the future. from communication culture, to attitude, to systems and rules it all starts with a plan and you have to have a solid game plan.

You would not build a house or skyscraper with out blueprints or plans, why would you think your business is any different?

Quote " Even if you are on the right track, you may get run over if you just sit there" William James

I suggest the book below by Dan Coen, it is writer for contact centers but the concepts and guidance is all the same.
